My crooked back
was built for teeth and claws
The bloody wrath
of Tiny Gods
Tear at me, tear at me
Until I'm tame
This is what I was manufactured for
The dirt, the dark, the art of war
Punish me, punish me, until I'm saved
The night is mine, mine, mine
And I will worship as I please
Guide me from this hell of hope
and bind me with your holy rope
Look at me, look at me
I'm nearly there
Cut me with your vicious tongue
Make me taste what I've become
The violence, the violence
The perfect prayer
The night is mine, mine, mine
And I will worship as I please
I will worship as I please
I will worship as I please

I discovered this band mere weeks ago through pure chance; someone recommended Fair in a discussion about wholesome songs. And it was; love at first listen. YouTube recommended me Battle Cries next, so I gave that a listen too, and the the energy and the overlapping lyrics made me fall in love anew.
I bought this album and Ruin less than a day later. Everything TAD have made is true art, different from everything else I've heard. Mayana
I do not normally cry because of music, or fiction in general. Chords made me cry. Every time I listen to it, it still feels like a warm, tight goodbye hug.
But it isn't what convinced me to buy this album, because damn, I knew I would right from the start of Secret Worlds, and knew it ever more at every song. The way the songs here can combine to tell a whole new story, and even reference others from The Horror and the Wild, is just magnificent. Mayana
